Hi there,
So yes, the Lord has blessed me in so many ways - now the table has turned and the Devil is on the back foot! I realise that he has been interfering in my relationships: but I've got to the point where I can sense, where he is working - I know to rebuke him, in the power of Jesus' Name. You actually have to get a little angry with the Devil and put it to him that what he has done in the past, is not welcome. When you do this, you break free and can start to love those with you, for who they are - taking up your cross and following Jesus.
The Devil is there, every day, but if you take control, and put him on the back foot, life gets so much better. The Lord is able to convict you of sin, righteousness and judgment, because you have already started to deny yourself and have not looked to the works of the Devil for your inspiration. In this is completeness, because with works of your own - to the Glory of God - you are able to discern your own works, from the works of the Devil. With recognition, you are able to destroy those works: your life becomes a testimony of Jesus can do, not what the Devil wants to do.
From here, it is a case of mastering the conviction that the Holy Spirit gives you: you can say, "yes, I stand with God", "yes, God protects me", and "yes, I will follow God" and your conviction comes to a head and your cross becomes clear to you and you are able to follow the Lord's instruction in it: His council. Your appetite for the word grows and your own pathetic, self image, starts to put on muscle and develop strength (as it was set out in Ezekiel). You are able to reach out to people, and demonstrate the power of the Lord God to them, that they may be healed and delivered and upheld. The Devil does not want this, but again: get angry with him, start to do what God says and you will see the fruit - you will have crossed over, from doubt, into action. Ask for the Holy Spirit to inspire you: it will start to make sense (because you are doing the will of God and celebrating it) - celebrate it out loud "Lord, I have done Your Will, we have done Your Will and I am thanking you now for it, for the opportunity, the spirit and the conviction of it - Thankyou!"
You have the time, you have the insight, scripture sets it out for you and the Devil is afraid you will make sense of it, by getting angry with him, siding with God and doing as He says. This is your calling, as it is mine - if you do it to the end of your life, you won't be able to contain the blessings God gives you, it will all be for His Glory, with you in Him. Thus power will come, thus a massive increase in spirit will rest in you, thus you will perceive the Will of God in the midst of your being - "you will hear a voice saying 'this is the way, walk ye in it'" (Old Testament) and your words will come from truth. This is what it is to walk in the Day of the Lord - your purity counts, your spirit counts, your learning counts. Your enemies will bow before you, the temptation to sin will be far from you, the old works of the Devil will crumble from before you - it is a daily calling, it is a highly holy thing, it is undertaken with trepidation, but it is trepidation that you were born for.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to grow in spirit, by sharing this.
God bless.
