Hi Living4Him09,
Sounds like you've got a MAJOR control issue. You are focusing on what you can do to make yourself better. When you should really be surrendering it to God.
He knows how and what to do to make you better. And what to do to make you into the person He has called you to be.
I'm saying this because I have the same issue.
I've been in the whole restricting... like not eating anything for long periods of time, and also eating lots and lots. And purging etc.
What happens is that it becomes a cycle. A NEVER ENDING cycle that just keeps repeating itself and you think YOU have control, but really IT starts to take control of you. You may not realize it now, but you most definitely will.
I ended up going to counseling. And the counselor gave me a lot of really good tips.
Oh, and did you know that purging (throwing up on purpose) can actually cause you to GAIN weight?! AND causes a host of other physical problems especially making your teeth rot. That's what happened to me. Went to the dentist one day and basically ALL my molars had cavities, and I had never had a single cavity in my life before. Plus, they had checked my teeth just a few months before. So ya, it's serious.
