CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Awwwwww! I've been waiting for that
So... how did it happen?
He proposed in a restaurant we went to after he picked me up from the airport. I had gone to the restroom and when I came back to sit down he got out the box and got down on one knee and asked me. It was funny because I was not expecting it AT ALL and I was shocked. I remember thinking "Melissa you should probably say yes now"
So I did, and then this guy behind us started clapping and said "so that's why he looked so nervous!" He started asking us lots of stuff, like how we met, etc... and then after a while he asked when we were getting married. We were kind of like "well we just got engaged a few minutes ago so we don't know the date yet". And he said, "Well, you COULD get married RIGHT NOW. -- No, seriously, if you want to get married.... I can do it right now" (and he pulls out his ordained minister card). So that was pretty much hilarious
