We have been trying to buy the land that our house is on- it belongs to one of my husband's brothers and he needs the money. Our bank would not go along with it at this time. Neither would any other one that I approached. My husband has been very worried about this but I decided that I was NOT going to worry about it. God knows what we need and if it is His will for us to own this land, then He is perfectly capable of seeing to it. He knows we need a miracle and I know He can provide just that. So- I haven't worried. A couple of weeks ago the thought kept coming to me, very persistently all day long- "He is LORD." It was accompanied by such an indescribable feeling of both awe and praise. The next morning- same thought until early afternoon. Turns out that this was when the realtor came up here to post a for sale sign (we were not home) and she decided she could not do it and told my brother in law so. He then went to another of John's brothers and just like that our land problem is solved. We now have five years to pay it off. Until yesterday we had no idea at all that we were about to recieve this miracle. I am SO thankful!! What an awesome God we serve!!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
