when every i have to right in class or just at home I always get writers block at the begining I can never know what to right about unless someone gives me a begining. So could some one give me a good begining. I will choose the best one and start writing about it.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

1) When you hear the word childhood, what's the first thing you remember? Describe sights, scents, sounds, etc. How does it make you feel?
2) If you had a child, what would you name it? Why - what association does the name have for you? Do you want your child to have those qualities?

Try working backwards. Start with the end and work towards the begining. You get some interesting stories that way and it's fun. Just make sure you don't bring something out of nowhere.

starting's usually the hard part. i skip around and write whatever i feel like. sometimes i'll start in the middle and work my way towards the beginning and then to the end.

Sometimes, when I don't know what to write, I'll look at the lyrics of a song or even i history and do a story about it. Or, if you write poetry, put that poem into story format, or vice-versa.
