The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lots if general life difficulties I get used to. I don't care about me anymore, my life is best used to help others with good lives or ones that could be good.

Jesus showed me that to love is better than to hate, hate brings negative feelings alive it creates a dying to life and good things in us. On the other hand love is a life bringer - it fixes what hates destroys and brings good life back into our psyche.
Please consider repenting of the hate you feel towards yourself, and begin to apply compassion, kindness, gentleness, mercy and forgiveness to your own life, be just as Christ is - loving!
Once I started to practise that my in my deeply depressed life it improved dramatically, depression began to loose its grip on me, and more and more I began to walk free from the darkness that hate and anger had brought alive in me.

dont worry i am loving and kind and sensitive. I grew up in the 70's and 80's and my teachers and parents flogged that out of me. I hate my agression and harness replaced by what happened.I used to feel that way and was deeply depressed:o

Thats part of it you guys dont need worry. i am a guy and we take that stuff and fight off everything bad our feelings dont matter. Sorry guys dont worry bout it.

Oh yes, I felt that a big part of my life. God's love delivered me of this. Search on google verses about God's love and start meditating on them and pray them. Ask God to show you his love for you, especially His Father's love.
We don't have to love ourselves in a selfish way-it is a sin. But we have to love and accept ourselves in the love of God- knowing who we are in God and finding our identity in Him. When you are able to find your identity in Him, you won't hate your life anymore, because you will see yourself the way He sees you and you won't have to put your identity in your performance or in the opinions of other people. Begin to read what the bible says about you, because that is what God thinks and the way He sees you. You don't have to stay in that self-hate only if you want to-as a Christian you can rise above those feelings and thoughts and accept the person God created. It is a process, maybe sometimes longer than you want to, but it is worth!

I hate somethings in my life because of others, some people are trying to disturb me, I'm thinking of changing the living place where I am right now.

I hate life sometimes. What comes to mind is when I'm trapped in some awful place especially if I'm dependent on someone who doesn't treat me right and I don't know what to do and feel guilty for how I feel.
