I Found a Home!

Well, I think I finally found my home? That is, my new church home to be more specific. You would think that wouldn't be a very hard task considering this town has a church on every corner almost but, I look for very specific things when it comes to being part of a church and today I believe I found that church finally???

The service was perfect, the congregation very friendly, the music is just what I enjoy when it comes to gospel/worship music and it's a real nice looking church of the style I'm use to. It's not too much and it's not too plain. The only thing missing is, it's not out in the country as I would prefer, lol. So, I'm hoping this works out because I'm tired of searching and I believe in the way I located this particular church, God pointed me in this direction!

Well, I already received a phone call from a Michael at this new church to ask if I needed anything, needed prayer, or if there was anything special they could do for me and that's how the church is suppose to be. That has already impressed me and I'm more convinced that attending this church today was more than mere coincidence! I think this is going to work out just fine for me and I am looking forward to many, many Sunday services with my new church family??? Good Lord willing that is, lol.

I just noticed when looking at the main page here on Singles that out of the first 20 threads, my name shows in 17 of them which concerns me that perhaps I'm talking too much and I don't want folks thinking I'm trying to take over the place, lol? Perhaps it's time I sit back and listen rather than run off at the jaws??? My bad!!!

Ah yeah, I just noticed I've been here less than a month and I have 343 posts counting this one. Perhaps it IS time to sit back & listen, lol.

No, keep talking. If people are interested in what you say, they won't respond. However, there is nothing more boring than a quiet forum...and someone has to start a conversation. The beauty of a written conversation is that it isn't rude to have more than one going on at the same time... Besides, there are some of us who would have very little human (or at least adult) interaction without the conversations on forums like this.

Every word we utter God can use, (even in light conversation and even with "smilies" ). Soooo many are isolated and need encouragement, and need desperately to hear how God is mooooving, and that He really DOES answer prayer and has a future and a hope for us. It's like "unintentional" edifying, but God uses it mightily. He is a GOOD God.

Bo, it's because of you and people like you that this forum has livened up lately. Why would you want to put a cobash on that? And Brinny is right, that alot of people read, and do not respond, but it doesn't mean they don't read something valuable to them.

So so glad you found a church home. When Michael called, did you tell him about your "need" for someone to physically check on you? You better hope you did!
