By the way, God helped me to quit smoking on the day that this same particular girl recieved a word from God about it (she had no prior knowledge that I was a smoker at the time).

Basically God had shown her a picture of scars across my chest and I can't remember the exact words but God was ready to help me through it, or something. It meant something to me, because I knew exactly what it was and I had been really praying about it for the last few weeks.

Anyone who's a smoker knows that even if you don't smoke a huge amount (I was never a huge smoker but I was definitely addicted) that the cravings set set in really quickly... After I recieved that word I didn't have any cravings for a few months and when they did come back in my state of mind was that "I've made it this far, I have no reason to go back." I couldn't have done it without God because I have an addictive personality (one of the reasons I hardly ever drink).

I was even able to turn down a couple of offers of a cigarette, in particular from a guy I used to go to TAFE with (tertiary education thingy) who seemed adamant about me smoking.

wow, now THAT is how God works...hehe...thanks for sharing. Next time don't leave out the "juicy" details like this..
