Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
It should also be noted that I thought I was in OBOB when I posted this.

Yes, it is getting nasty, but I don't think you're the one who's out of line. All of this stuff has been interesting reading for me, since I'm a Catholic who is looking into Lutheranism.

Thanks. I try to keep it civil. But I can sometimes lose it when talking with nutjobs.
I didn't post in the threads, but I subscribed to them, because I'm trying to read as much as I can from books, websites, and and forums about some theological concerns I've been having.
I saw plenty of sane Catholics in those threads, but it seems like they were drowned out by a few who are perhaps overzealous.
I told myself I wouldn't let my decision be influenced by the rudeness of zealots on either side, but I do take into consideration the valid information/arguments they bring to the table.
