My faith doesn't seem to make me any friends. I have the Lord though.

Your faith and mine, is not helpful in the making of friends of many. But not all. And it is because we do have the Lord.

I had a period where I was lonely, it can go ok for a time, but God has designed us for fellowship. How can I know that? Because
Psalm 68:6
God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.

Also, Prov 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

I asked God to give me a family and he sure did. I would not call it traditional as in marriage or by blood but nonetheless I found people whom I care for and who have care for me. So if God has said that he would put the lonely in families can you believe that? I will say it is not instant and it may require some effort on your part but he will do that because he understands all our needs.

Matt 12:48 Jesus asked, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” 49 Then he pointed to his disciples and said, “Look, these are my mother and brothers. 50 Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!”

I just share my faith on the internet. It should open people's eyes but it doesn't.

While i may not always agree with you, I listen to what you are saying and respect you as a Christian. Things sure can be a struggle, and online is quite a bit different than face to face. Still, it is good to believe that God will lead you to some relationships. Without others we can not be sharpened.

You've got to get into fellowship and put yourself out there to make friends and it can take time but being faithful to attending church and allowing others to see you're consistent and showing up will help you more than you know. It can take some time but just start with being faithful to going to church, shake some hands and friends will blossom. Seeds grow at different speeds.

People don't understand social anxiety. They dont know my problems either. They tell you that you need fellowship but online fellowship is too much to ask for. They don't care to be your friend

I have suffered from debilitating anxiety and social anxiety my entire life ever since I was a child. you can't blame everything and everybody else, you have to act. you have to change your way of thinking and you definitely must ask the Lord to change your way of thinking.

you were in the same trap that I was in for so many years thinking the exact same way and I can tell you honestly that it is incorrect and it's only going to hurt you and Satan's going to use it against you.

the Lord says be anxious in nothing. you must ask him to teach you that. but you cannot sit around waiting for things to happen you have to get out there and shake some hands and meet people and talk to people and tell them what's going on and not be afraid to do it.

I can say these things because I had the exact same struggle and I wasted so many years stuck in that mentality.
