I dreamed that someone was standing by the side of my bed. Any thoughts?

I dreamed that someone was standing by the side of my bed. It was dark and therte was a person there. I screamed and woke up my self up. Any thoughts why I would dream that?

My daughter woke up and saw 2 angels standing by her bed. She wasn't afraid though.

that's happened to me once. i was 10 yrs old and was dreaming and i half woke... while i was half asleep i saw like a shadowy outline of someone beside my bed and thought it was my dad saying goodnight. so i woke up fully and nothing was there. not sure if this is anything like what u were describing... but if it is then it beats me wat it means:/ creepy tho!!

Right side. The left side of my bed was the wall.

If it scared you, or put fear inn ur spirit, it was a demon, It happens to me as well and i just rebuke them in the name of Jesus, this one time an angel even intervened and fought on my behalf... Those who call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved ! Blessings !

I think it was fear or evil I guess, but I was sleeping with my dog one day, the dog touched my foot. It scared me to. So anything in the middle of night would scare me.

Just because you felt fear does not mean it was demonic, Daniel and Ezekiel both felt a tremendous fear when God appeared to them in dreams. I just posted a dream I had about a man standing beside my bed in another thread about tornadoes. It was the left side. I've had several about someone standing by my bed or just in my room, my daughter has had them also since she was little.

You may have Parasomnia; more specifically had a Night Terror. Even though it doesn't sound like it, it resembles it to some degree.

Just last Friday night my Gf woke up and saw a white male figure standing beside her bed with his arms reaching out. It scared her so she screamed and the figure left. She mentioned it to me on Saturday. Then Sunday morning at church we looked up at the projection screen and there was a white figure of Jesus with His arms reaching out and over Him it read "He is risen"! I elbowed my GF and she nodded her head in conformation.
