I dreamed I was in Hell.

At first, I didn't know I was there. I was in a place with my parents, and a toaster kept killing my father. Eventually, I took the toaster's brunt and and died. I was told I was in hell by my father and mother.

I was shown a person drawing something on the computer.

And then I woke up.

Is this a sign that I'm going to hell, or hopefully just a sign that I probably ate something weird?

I dont believe hell is how we imagine it to be.
I do not think it is a place of pain.

It is a place away from God.
But then again, we wont know anything for sure unless we go to God and ask him.

If you believe in God and Jesus as your savior than you shouldn't be worried about going to hell.

Cyndicate, I am not trying to start a debate with you; however reading this has me curious, If Hell is not a place of pain as you say, then Jesus lied bald faced when Jesus told the account of the Rich man and Lazarus found in the book of Luke ch 16:23-24 "and in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torment and seeth Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger and water and cool my tounge for I am tormented in this flame."

Now granted that was before the cross, the book of revelation says that Death and Hell will be cast into the lake of fire.


please know that I am not trying to be nothing more than a watchman. If hell is not separation from God(which would more pain that I would expierence on a physical level) and physical pain described by Jesus then Why would Jesus need to be our Savior by living a sinless life, dying on the cross, rising again so we could be reconciled to God and not have to go to hell?

Well, I wont try and explain to you why I think it the way it is, but If you read and read like I have then you will come to your own conclusion.

I wont go into it much, but the words FOREVER and ETERNITY are two diffirent things.

Those words are more diffirent than what we believe.
Study those words and see how they are used.

When the Bible says the Land Burnt forever? is this possible? the land does not burn today, but it did.

Look at the word Eternity.

It is difficult to explain what I mean.
I cant remember the land that was burning.

I cant explain it to you.
Do research, the Bible is old and so are the meanings.

Don't take my word for it, you will need to do your own research.

Dasalai, you may have a little guilt about something simple that maybe you're not aware of, or simply hadn't thought about. ( A cashier gives you too much change, but you don't mention it. )

You may feel as thought you have let your parents down somehow, or maybe you need to talk to them about something and have been putting it off.

So many simple little things can cause dreams. It can be as simple as watching a disturbing movie. ( The brain is very creative when we are sleeping. )

In any case, if you're asking the question, I'd say chances are good that you're a good-hearted person and not likely to be thrust into Hell without reason.

Well who knows maybe you doing something and God is showing/telling you thats your place if you continue the way you going no offense. Just watch yourself and ask God to forgive you tell him if you doing something thats displeasing him and you don't know to show you and he will be straight with him.. Remember sometimes we do something that we don't notice we doing.. Bless you! Betsy

If you have trusted CHRIST as your Lord and savior, then you have nothing to fear, cause perfect love drives out fear-once you have trusted christ, you do not have to fear hell anymore.


maybe a part of you stills thinks, even though you are a christian, that you have to work to keep what God has already freely givin. and you don't feel strongly that you have live up to what God expects out of you. or as others have mention. maybe you feel guilty about something. simple things like this, can make you feel this way. the more you get to know God. the more you will understand his love and compassion for you.

look at all that david did, when he sined. yet he never doubted God's love for him or his salvation. cause he says. " lord restore the joy of your salvation." he did not say. saved me again lord.

I would make sure I am saved , once you are saved you belong to God,you will not go to hell,,,,,, if you are not sure if I were you I would talk to my preacher to make sure. I will be praying for you
