I don't know what to do

Ok, im not a psycho, but I am new to Christ, and dont know what is involved. I have had a thing for a close friend of mine for a while. Im naturally shy so ive never approached her about it, and just ignored it. Shes a God loving woman (heck, her father is a pastor) and is basically the gender opposite of me.

Now, I also struggle with OCD, I have since birth. One day I suddenly got a thought praying to satan (or some evil spirit) to make her love me. Now I would never do this, if anything I would pray to God but either way I think its pretty warped. If she doesnt love me she doesnt love me, end of story. Im not gonna pray to some deity to change that. However, a few days later, she confesses her love to me out of the blue. THis is concerning. Cause while I would love to date her, im concerned this is the work of Satan. Idk if thats too much or even going into extremist territory. But the coincidence is way too much. Thoughts?

I do not see any killing, stealing, destroying, lying, devouring, temping, or evil in these activities. Sounds pretty innocent to me. But I am not there.

1. being tempted to do something is not the same thing as doing it.
2. Always make choices that lead to serving God following His will and deleting the bad music, vids, games that Satan uses to occupy your mind.
3. Read the Bible.

Don't worry about it. Y'all are both faithful people. You just had a thought. Don't let OCD ruin something that could be good.

I know, its just it happened RIGHT after I asked for it (again prompted by my OCD). I don't want to persue this if its brought on by demons.

You did give Satan power (thinking he is a diety) when you thought he could answer your prayer. He can not. So you doubted God and now you have to question the very thing you asked for. It would have been better to pray to Jesus Christ of Nazareth . Sorry for the harsh post.

it wasnt my choice to pray to him...i have a literal mental illness dude. Believe me, I never would have in the first place. Even when I was an atheist I stayed away from the demonic cause I always got bad vibes from it.

Prayerfully ask God if this is a relationship you should pursue, if she is the one to marry, and then if you feel led to, you can also maybe ask her to join you in praying about a possible relationship and then maybe speak to her dad about it and progress from there if you feel led. Don't let satan fool you, Jesus is the way, the Truth, and the Life, He will help you if you ask for His will to be done.

I'm not judging you. If you did pray to Lucifer, that's big mistake. Repent sins to God and ask for forgiveness, acts chapter 3. You have holes in your armour, ephesians chapter 6. Read this chapter. Knowing and wisdom is needed to stand against wiles of the devil. I think satan is setting you up. My advice, stay single. Christian people are to study the bible and plant seeds for God, produce fruit . Documentation, John chapter 15. Satan will tempt the flesh body. Put your spirtual body in charge. Colossians, increase in knowledge of Gods word . Study the bible.

But we as Christians' are supposed to find our other half as well. Have a godly relationship and become one flesh.

I hope your not referring to satan. Gospel of Matthew, Jesus says, you can't serve two Masters. Christian people can't walk on both sides of the fence. Satan uses hirelings to teach false doctrine, Timothy chapter 4.
Satan uses familiar spirits, called mediums, to contact evil spirits. People think it's their loved ones who died. Messing with the occult leads to hell. Satan has different methods to trap and trick people. Leviticus chapter 19. Satan uses material and entertainment to distract people. Satan uses lust. Galatians chapter 5 will document this. Friend, you can't hold hands with Jesus and the devil at the same time. If you don't break ties with satan. Sheol is waiting for you. Its holding place for the spirtualty dead or wicked. Again, I'm not judging anyone. I hope I misunderstood you. Peace.

- be friends and let it grow from there and keep seeking nice advice
- "Eddie Merckx brain" picks up on all sorts of figments, and good sense can filter out useless ones. You'll get used to this method and value it.

Are you being treated for OCD? Meds? You must repent of it and start over...

Love tends to cast out fear, so it might feel unnerving as the fear is expelled from you. It passes through you before it leaves generating all sorts of thoughts that are unproductive and annoying.
