  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Finally!! I have completed the first draft of my novel!!!!! Now comes the fun part - EDITING!!!!! :clap::clap::clap: (no, there is absolutely no sarcasm in that statement - editing is my favorite part of writing)

Now I just need to get all my subplots in order and make sure that everything with a beginning has an ending and everything that has an ending has a beginning, and fun stuff like that. I wish I could start it tonight, but alas! I need sleep ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^

I might be just a little too giddy though.

Haha...this happened to me in November, and I made an almost-identical post.

Isn't the feeling wonderful??

And trust me - editing is even more fun. It's feels phantasmagorical to align all the details, fix the mistakes and pull it all together.

Haha, I'm seriously so happy for you...when I finished mine I was so elated that I ran around the dorm hugging people I didn't know. I didn't really use discernment. If they were close enough, I hugged them. I also danced around the hall for a really, really long time :D You must be so excited!

I am!!! Sadly, it's the middle of the night so there isn't much hugging going on, but I'll attack everybody tomorrow ^_^

I did spend a fair amount of time dancing around the halls though. :tutu:
