I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol need prayer I want to see the Lord's healing power heal me.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thank you for your prayers. I have studied and believed for healing and get kind of discouraged not see it happen. But I am standing on God's word and it would be neat to read your book.

I would suggest you immerse yourself in the Word and make the Word part of you. Receive the Holy Spirit and depend on Him to reveal the truth of healing. This will be a marathon, not a sprint. You have to know that healing was accomplished ~2000 yrs ago and healing is God's will for every believer. This is enough to get you started with your healing.
I mentioned doing it yourself because a Christian, who knows his covenant, does not need to wait to be healed by another. It takes a little tenacity but you end up in control of your destiny.

I am going to do what others seem reluctant to do. Jesus gave a command to His disciples to "heal the sick". He did not say pray and ask Him to heal. He has filled us with His Spirit and given us the power of attorney to use His Name to speak healing to the sick. So I am going to use what the Holy Spirit has given me.
I use the Name of Jesus to command your body to come into line with God's Word. Blood pressure, I tell you to return to normal, and I command that your body process the cholestrol in the normal way so that it returns to the proper level. I speak into you the peace of God which passes all understanding so that any stress levels that are affecting your blood pressure are lowered. Jesus heals you!

1 Corinthians 11:29-30 NKJV
For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. [30] For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.
The only reason Paul gave as to why christians are sick, weak and many die before their time is because they don't discern the Lord's body, that is, they don't seem to know that Jesus' body was crushed for their healing!

I agree with your prayer Oscarr. I add that the power of the Holy Spirit would descend upon Steve like a dove and he would understand the grace the Lord has provided him to refrain from practices that would increase his blood pressure and tempt him to foods not healthy for his physical body. I also pray the the Lord would grant Steve the peace to walk in his presence daily and uphold the calling he has been called for. Full healing from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. All infirmity must go in the blessed name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

I will be praying for you Steve. My father also struggles with high blood pressure and has to take lots of medications to regulate it. Be thankful, though, that you have a family in Christ that will be behind you every step of the way. God bless you and preserve you Steve, I wish you the best of luck with your medical issues.
