CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You could play alot of different games here on the Blessing Exchange and award blessings/points for the winners. Sometimes people play guessing games, sometimes people play posting games and sometimes people get creative. There are a host of different kind of games you could host and when you host the game it's alot of fun. If you're interested in making new friends, you may want to try a posting game where everyone gets to chat and get to know each other. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

I enjoy giving my blessings to new members, I usually do it anonymously, makes you feel good, when I first start, alot of people did that for me. Its good to share!

You just create a new thread in the Blessing Exchange, offering blessings as the reward for winning the game.
i.e. Start a thread where the first person who posts on example say post #300 wins X amount of blessings. Sometimes people will add in random numbers with lesser amount of blessings for consellation prizes.
i.e. Start a thread where people guess various trivia about you say: favorite movie, favorite color etc... then dispurse blessings when someone guesses them correctly.
i.e. Start a thread with various trivia questions and give out blessings for correct answers
You get the idea, your imagination is the limit. I once started a Blessing thread playing a game like 20 questions. It was fun. Everyone enjoys a good game and you soon get to know alot of people that play here.
