You know something, i have been saying this for many years and im gonna say again right now. I hate evolution, infact i think its a big threat to those who have faith and to those who are just learning about GOD and his work and his foundation and his creation of this world and the world to come(New heaven and New Earth/Holy City).

Its not only a threat, its also not a bible teaching. Infact all of the disiciples and prophets and even those living in the middle east will not agree with evolution(its rare in the middle east). The fact thats its not a bible teaching should tell you something right there. Its "SATAN'S WORK", satan knows how to "Overthrow" people and by the looks of this world, satan is doing a great job by tricking millions , even billions into falling for the tricks of man and its wickedness.

This is the biggest problem, The question comes to mind> "Why are we even having a discussion about " CREATION AND EVOLUTION "?

This is what the world has become, As the end of this world draws nigh, there cometh false prophets and false teachers. We are living in a world and a time period, where we are having a discussion about whatever GOD is real or not.

Its unfair and it makes me sick. I cant wait till "Armageddon" comes, Good times for the righteous ones and bad times for the wicked. Remember Noah's day yo.............

I'll tell you what's "Satan's Work", if anything is. It's the discreditation of the gospel by associating it with creationist pseudoscience. It's the artificial creation of a conflict between the faith and established science, which is what evolution is.

That's what I'd be doing if I were Satan. Telling people that they can't accept mainstream science which they know to be true and be a Christian. Tell them that Christianity is about adopting long disproven mediaeval creation models. That should have the churches emptying.

I do. The idea that the world was created only thousands of years ago is one such example.

The difference is that I was not saying that creationism is the work of Satan. I'm merely suggesting that creationism has negative effects on the credibility of the gospel. Rather different, methinks.

Why would Satan be telling people they need to except a view which explicitly requires God, when he could be telling people there's a way in which the world began which doesn't need God at all?

Ok, now we have creationists that can't understand science, condemning it as Satanic. This is not the behavior of godly people. Do not fear, God is bigger than science; if He exists, He cannot be diminished.
Science is just the organization of observable data in the natural world into a theory based on deductive reasoning. My belief in the omnipotence of God is not diminished by my acceptance of evolution. In fact it leads me to greater awe and wonder. God started with something so simple, that resulted in all of this. Amazing!

People fear evolution because they think that it is against God. The stumble on this point because they think that it is based on death, and death did not enter the world until sin, and the world was created before sin, so God could not use evolution to create. Sounds like a good argument, but it is based on a false assumption. Evolution is not dependent on death, but on reproduction, The progress of life itself.
It is not God that is diminished by evolution, but the belief of those that refuse to think, IMO.

You're thinking of philosophical naturalism. Evolution is not this. It is how God did it all.

Simple. Lots of people know that the "view which explicitly requires God", by which you mean YEC, am I right, is false. Therefore, telling people that they should accept this view to be Christians is a bit like telling them that Christianity also teaches that grass is blue and the sun goes round the earth - i.e. that Christianity is false.

Are you saying that science is not part of God's world?

How does finding a scientific explanation of how God works push God out of the picture?

Who, other than atheists and creationists, claim there is a way to do anything in nature which doesn't need God at all?

Why do creationists agree with atheists that God does not use secondary (i.e. natural) means to accomplish God's purposes?

Seems to me that creationists need to open their eyes to the wondrous works of God which God accomplishes naturally and start recognizing it as God's work.
