I've listened to a lot of rap over the years, and even got inspired to rap for Christ. I would think that when people start paying attention to me, I'd show them Christ's way instead of giving me glory.

But this guy says otherwise:

We cannot serve God in our own way? Obviously there's guidelines to doing that but if the way that I'm doing helps bring people to God, it's still bad because I'm doing it my own way?

The only time 1 Corinthians 10:31 doesn’t apply is when the Bible strictly condemns it (e.x. Idolatry, sexual immorality, etc)
That can’t be made obedient to Christ, but your vocals can!

The Lord God Almighty created all things, including artists. If rap is your calling, make sure you do it for the glory of the Lord and to immerse yourself in the Word of God. 2 Chronicles 7:14 "seek his face". Then you will be inspired to do something like this.

If you can rap well, and are Christian, you can definitely be a Christian rapper. There is no Biblical argument against it. This Youtuber seems to be projecting Herod's sin on Christians, even though they're not accepting worship from people.
