The giant prehistoric shark called Megalodon that eats whales can be over 100 feet long. Some think that it is an example of a Lazarus taxon. An animal thought to be extinct , only to reappear.
I think that this is one of God's most awesome creations. All the giant prehistoric creatures are very interesting.
I also watched a Jurassic park marathon on television this afternoon. Parts one , two and three back to back.
So what kind of creatures really exist and what happened to the dinosaurs ? What about unicorns and dragons ?

If Megalodon is still alive, then I would want Stegosaurus to be alive as well.

As for Dinosaurs going extinct, I do believe the cause of the mass extinction was a result of an asteroid colliding with earth. The result being that it threw up dense clouds of dust blocking the suns rays. No sun means no plants, no plants means no herbivores, no herbivores means no carnivores.

In my oh so humble opinion...

I think the reason we find more of the "prehistoric" animals today that have a relationship with the water, rather than the land would be a result of the climate change that took place after the flood.

The land dinosaurs eventually died off because their habitat was altered, but those in the water returned to something basically the same.

Unicorns and other chimera-type creatures would have been pre-flood when the genetics of both man and animals were being tampered with.

If it is true we havent explored most of the oceans still then it is very possible a creature like Megalodon exists still. I've personally wondered about giant squid and/or Octopi that would accompany a good seafaring tale where the creature destroys entire vessels with it's limbs and apendages...

Giant squid have been found, washed up dead onshore or caught on underwater camera. I certainly wouldn't want to meet one!

I find this especially interesting in light of the recent threads on here about evolution and the flood. This area mentioned on the video is 100 miles inland and has the fossils and bones of all kinds of underwater creatures which suggests that this land area was once underwater.

Anybody see the documentary on the shark whale?--Bigger than the biggest whale!--It was awesome, a man swimming with it looked so small--luckily, it only eats plankton. They know almost nothing about it, it's very rare. Some didn't believe it existed--surprise!!
