If your friends are Christian have you ever visited their church w/them?SAS044 said:yes i have 2 Christian friends. how i came to know the Lord? sort of a relatively long story.
If I were you I would look up all the churches in your area, and then visit their denomonation's website, to get an idea of their core beliefs...choose a few you are interested in and either email a pastor and have a meeting with him/her, or just go and if you like it, ask the pastor if he/she will spend a few minutes with you. After trying a few churches you can choose the one you like best. When I met with the pastors at my church and went to their services...well when I walked in there I felt God like I had never felt Him before, and that is how I knew I was in the right place.SAS044 said:i don't have a church. how do i join a church?
yeah, those can be extremely dangerous.. Look for a church that teaches the full word of God, not leaving anything to error.. This is best done by (I sound of a broken record) searching the scripturesThe one's I would steer you away from, but they call themselves Christian would be Mormons, Jehovaha's Witnesses, and any of the eastern religions like Bahai, etc.
