Well, young folks tend to be more fanatic fans and zealots, probably because they are the target audience.I was wondering what was the purpose of the statement. I don't see how it applies to just the younger generation. We are all affected by music ... both the message and the tune. Music is a pull on our emotional side....be it pop music, classical, or even old hymns

I've seen / heard this kind of thing before, and usually with young people.
Of course "young" is also a relative thing.
