I saw a magnet someone in my French class had that they got from one of their friends who is a foreign exchange student in Hungary. On the magnet was this phrase: "A barátság az, amikor egy lélek két testben él".[font=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans serif] Does anybody know what this means? Any help would be much appreciated!

Something like "the best friendship is one spirit in two bodies" or similar.

Quite a good translation mate! :) only diff. thet it's not about "the best" friendship just simply about "friendship". Friendship is when there is one spirit in two bodies.

How do you know Hungarian? (you must have lived in the southern part of Slovakia then moved to Czech or something...?)

I don't. :) Pieced it together with an online dictionary. Barát is similar to the Slavonic "brát" so I figured it was about friendship from the start.

haha wow how smart! :) yeah these eastern europeans not only have common sense but they even use it! ;)

"Halld Izráel: az Úr, a mi Istenünk, egy Úr!
Szeressed azért az Urat, a te Istenedet teljes szívedbõl, teljes lelkedbõl és teljes erõdbõl."
