Will not be preachy today saints. Just wanted to share a humbling experience with all of you. I went to my class, but at the wrong hour. I had to apologize to my students and requested them to remind me in the future.
All my life I saw myself as a perfectionist. It's truly humbling when one of my kids had to correct me. The Holy Spirit reminded me of the Master's words:
"I tell you the truth, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you're old you'll stretch out your hands and someone else will lead you where you don't want to go (John 21:18)." Indeed, the Apostle Peter who denied the Lord thrice, was later crucified upside down, glorifying God.
True reliance on the Holy Spirit and His Power only happens when we're at the end of our ropes. I guess I'm still getting there
. Peace in Christ
