Did you always know which way to turn when you hit the edge of town?
Did you always understand when to say please and when to say thank you?
Can you remember a time when you didnt know the difference between right and wrong?
If you cant answer yes to any of the above questions, dont get hard on yourself, youre human.
Look ahead, were told. See what tomorrow brings. Good things come to those who wait. Look before you leap. Good things are just around the corner. The grass is always greener on the other side. Look to the north and follow your heart.
Were taught to never look back, to always press on to the future. We get so mixed up in our day to day daunts, that we forget to take time and appreciate our yesterdays. Who was there when you took your first step? Who was the first person to teach you how to speak? Who taught you to always look both ways? Who taught you how to drive stick shift?
If you cant remember, dont worry, youre human.
Can you look at the people you work with and say honestly, that you KNOW them? Do you know the names of their children? Do you know where they go to school? Could you recognize them at first sight based solely on what their parents have told you? If you had to shop for a gift, would you know exactly what cd to buy them?
If you arent capable of answering yes to everything above, dont get aggravated, youre human.
Humans have and humans always will continue to have tunnel vision for the future. Whats so bad about not being human once in a while? Id like to think every once in a while I get to be whatever I want
