Hula Hooping for Jesus!

O.K. I thought I`d try a new thread.We were talking about having a Hula Hoop Club.A few of us got ourselves one and were teasing about it.So here goes.Lets just talk about anything we have on our mind,and share our feeling of what we are going through in our lives as christians.And anyone else that wants to come in and join us can too.

Well last night my 19 year old grandson and his girlfriend came over to stay the night,this morning before he left I had a conversation with him about serving God.I try not to preach too heavy on the family but I just couldn`t help it today.I just told him that it isn`t enough just to ask Jesus in your heart and then do your own thing,and not make Him,Lord of your life.Then the conversation changed after that to something else so I just hope that it planted a seed in their heart and that I wasn`t too pushy.Its real scary when you have family ,to know what is the right thing to say to them about the Lord,when you seen them not serving God.

Did you get your patio all cleaned off?

Will finish my patio this evening. I got a lot of the plants moved inside and the carpet cleaned. I didn't want to bring it in dirty. I would say I'm about half done with it. The hardest part is left.

I like to do my shopping real early in the morning, so I can beat the crowd, but evidently a lot of people have the same idea because the store is pretty full then, as well.

Where I live in a little town if I go shopping after supper there is maybe one or two people in the store.We only have one grocery store here.One is been built so maybe our prices will get better.
