Keep praying please for my husband.

I felt lead earlier today to send him an email with Matthew 17:19-21. I told him that I am worried about his stress. I explained the only way I have been holding onto my sanity these last few months is because of my faith and my faith just grows stronger.

I also put 1 John in the email. He will say here and there that he has too much sin in his life.

He responded well. Didn't really say much but didn't say anything negative.
He was home for for a little bit and he mentioned how much different this church I go to is from the one he attended with me for a short bit in CA. He brought up the Pastor, who he saw today about work, and mentioned how different he is and the other people he has met, that they are not uptight and they are real people. I think his heart is really starting to soften and I pray as he is in the church more working and meeting other men from the church he will see he does not have to walk in there sinless, as all of us sin.

Please pray.

I will pray for him you bet! I also pray that you don't become weak by taking your focus off of God, to be told you are the one who might have to rise above circumstances and hold onto the glory and grace that God has for both of you.
Your Hubby will take the path God wills for him. Truly understanding that we know nothing of what God's plan is for him, makes it even more important that you stay focussed on God, not Hubby.

My focus is on God. Why would it not be and why would I become weak? Of course I don't know God's plans for him. I don't know God's plans for me. No one these things. Maybe I am sensitive but this is insulting to me as you do not know where my focus is. What kind of wife would I be not to care where my husband is in his life, and encouraging him with God's Word? Should I not care if my husband ever comes to know the Lord???

Thank you all for the prayers. My Pastor told me yesterday that he and my husband have been having little talks here and there. Hubby was there painting last night, he is going tonight too. I wish I wasn't missing Bible study but will be an awesome opportunity for him to meet other men in the church.

I am so happy he will be there tonight. There is fellowship for about an hour before Bible study so lots of changes for some of the men to talk to him.
