HTML Tags in EDIT

Greetings: When I clicked on EDIT to change something on one of my posts tonight, all the HTML tags appeared. I tried the EDIT button on another post or two of mine and the same thing occurred. WHY?Thanks!--David

are you sure they were HTML tags, and not bb tags - more specifically, such as [q] (im using a random letter here) annd things like that instead of <q>?

Hmmm, my HTML examples didn't show up in my second post above!?!?!? As far as HTML v BB, it is definitely HTML (< >) tags, not BB tags. Also, I just tried sending a PM. As soon a I previewed my message prior to sending it, I scrolled back down into the area I type in and everything I had just written had become enclosed in HTML. It makes it VERY hard to edit anything quickly. Is there anything I can do to fix this on my end??Thanks!!--David

Looks like more people are having this problem.It's not just when you edit, also when you quote. I can't multiquote anymore.

Yes, frustrating. I have also found that formatting is no longer working in some cases once I have written some text and previewed it. I have to use HTML mark-up to format instead of the buttons and drop-down menus.

yeah, we had some server/software issues recently - this should be all good and well now
