How's school going?

Hey all. We've just completed our first 6 weeks and had our first parent conference. I thought I'd check in and see how everyone's angels are doing in school so far.

Dylan (epilepsy, language delay) is doing very well. His teacher is really pleased and said he even helps some of the other kids with their work.

James is doing absolutely wonderful considering the rough start we had with the school.

They are pretty impressed with him!

My kiddo's school year has been very, very rough this year. We have a big IEP meeting tomorrow. Things seem settled a bit for now, but there are still rough spots that need straigtening out.

Sean is doing really well. He's responding fairly quickly to speech therapy. They've upped his sessions to 3 private and 1 group session a week but I think I want more. We haven't had conferences yet, but our teacher sent a notice home yesterday about a 2 hour parent/teacher interactive conference in the beginning of November. Apparently, they've video taped our kids during class so we can see what's going on. I'm looking forward to attending the conference.

We're homeschooling. This is our second year and what a huge difference it has made in our son. Such a blessing.
