Yes, I am from the mid-western part of the USA. I am an evangelical type of Christian, that attends a conservative non-denominational Church. I am a Pre-Trib Believer, and am fully convinced that is what the Scripture Teaches. Yes I am Old, 72 to be exact.
I was Born Again the last week of 1977, just before 29th birthday. I was a church-goer all of my life, but I was not saved until that last week of 1977, after three attempts at Suicide that week. I totally surrendered to JESUS out of LOVE for HIM. I have been following HIM ever since.
The most significant thing He has put on my heart to do, was to MOVE WEST, and I had no idea why, but I knew HE wanted me and my Wife in northern California. I found out after I got there that HE want me to start a PRISON MINISTRY on the Coast in a new Prison. No Bible College, No Seminary, but I had over 500 hundred cassette tapes, mostly of Dr. John MacArthur's sermons, and listened to them 4 times each. I knew I was lacking official training, BUT I TRUSTED HIM TOTALLY TO GIVE ME THE GUIDANCE THAT I NEEDED TO FULFILL THE MISSION. HE keep opening doors and I just kept walking through them. It was not me that kept me FAITHFUL, IT WAS ALL HIM, IN ME.
