How to tell God’s voice from OCD

Can anyone give wisdom on hoe to discern God’s voice from OCD’s voice?
I am unsure if I am feeling depressed because of OCD or because I’m grieving the Holy Spirit. I don’t know if I’m regusing to give into OCD or if I’m refusing to obey God’s direction. How can you tell?

OCD speaks via fear in your mind through confusion and uncertainty - this is certainly NOT God.

To me; Gods voice speaks deep to my heart; unchanging, full of love, truth, and conviction.

Shut off your mind; and listen deep to your heart. Also, check it against God's word to make sure it lines up.

But I think God also speaks to each one of us differently to some degree. But I can assure you any voice that breeds fear, confusion, and uncertainty is not God; run from that voice.

Hm, this sounds very similar to other threads I've seen you post. It wouldn't have anything to do with your obsession that you shouldn't marry your boyfriend, would it?

Hi, BeftEV, I've read your posts and the situation you described is exactly the same I'm facing right now...doubts as to if i'm just "labeling" my thoughts to justify taking the opposite sense of direction I'm feeling within me.... it has been so frustrating... it happens to me with the girl i love.
