Paul123 asks: "how to study the Bible ... Can anyone tell me anything."

Get a Study Guide.
In this way, you can follow the lessons of a person who is proficient in Bible Study.

I would ask my Pastor for his choice of a book. He will give you the name of a book which is informative, AND does not go against your Denomination's Doctrine. One bad thing about just going out and picking a book is: Until you get a ways through it, you won't know if it's actually going to RUIN your Faith (instead of edifying it).

Certainly, you can ask a trusted friend at Church. He may have read a book that strongly influenced his Spiritual Life.

If you choose to NOT read a book about it, then maybe begin by reading ONLY the Gospels.
Read them several times.
THESE are the teachings of Jesus Christ.
I did this for a few months, and it helped me.
