How to stay pure

How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.
Psalm 119:9 (NIV)

Very simple and very straightforward.
It IS that easy to stay on the straight and narrow.
Just living according to God's word.

I've not yet found the easy part! lol

So many strange forks beckon to one to leave the narrow path!

If you Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with you, that you may be feared. Ps. 130:3

The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. Ps25:14

If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear! Ps 66:18

Come little children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Ps 34:11

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Ps: 34:18

Such wonderful little verse sermons there. Staying close to Him takes conscious effort and thought and taking in His Word.

Maybe I should have worded it as an EASY CONCEPT

Some people are always asking what can I do to stay on the right path.

Often you find they are not reading and following its guidelines.

Sure we all falter and have tough times.

But we usually know what to do or where to get our guidance.

The Bible and spending time with God.
