How to delete history

i know the name says how to delete history, but how to you delete the shortcut things in internet explorer? what i mean is when you type, a shortcut thing pups up below the typing line (eg- if i typed "http://www.c," the thing would pop up and would give me "http://www.christianforums.com")

yep...thats how ya do it lol...theres another morecomplicated way...but i'm lazy...if you really wanna know, i'll chekc the thread later and tell ya...

or you could right click on your internet explorer icon, go down to properties. and then click clear history.

There's also a way to turn off the auto-complete function (it's called that, or something similar) in your internet options. I'm unsure of exactly where it is though. Just look around and you should be able to find it eventually.

Go to help in IE and search for 'auto-complete'. That should tell you what you can do to turn the function off. I believe it is in the 'tools' section of IE. Look in the 'advanced' tab and IIRC there is a circle you can click to turn the feature on or off.

Someone trying to get rid of the evidence

There is a way to do it with the registry, but I just looked and I can't find where to do it so sorry.
