Stand up for JESUS CHRIST. You won't be popular, loved or even liked, but
you do it because HE said to do it. If you deny CHRIST JESUS then HE said
that HE would deny you! Did someone use The LORD's Name in vain?
Politely (respectful of their ignorance and biceps) correct them. At least
show them, "Hey JESUS CHRIST The CREATOR (Colossians 1:16), and The
LORD of Glory says that blasphemy is a sin, you can punch me in the
mouth, but what you just said is blasphemy before GOD and wrong!" I've
yet to be punched for this, (came real close in North Carolina last year
though!) but boy you should see their faces! Don't take part in off-color
jokes or music. Stand up for CHRISTian values. Show folks you are
different for a reason. Be consistant, be better, try harder, don't be
satisfied with your current level of devotion or service to The LORD, but
always strive to know more, understand more, and be more useful. GOD's
people are always called to be a "Peculiar people". This doesn't mean to
be the weirdo in the group, it means to be the most educated one, the one
who has the daily witness and The TRUTH evident in their lives. Sure you
can still have fun, I do. But make sure your priorities are straight. GOD
first, family next, other responsibilities and chores and then playtime.
Invest your time and money into things that will last forever, like souls, and
prayer, and fruitful good works in the name of JESUS CHRIST. Put away
childish things in favor of reading and rereading The SCRIPTURES.
