Hanukkah?
How should one decorate ones home? (and incorporate it with decorating for Christmas... I know some here wouldn't dare incorporate the two... we've gottne rid of all the Santa stuff and anything we know is obviously pagan in origin...)
What foods should one eat? (not asking a legalistic question, but rather what kind of foods will make the holiday special)
What games should one play? How do you play them? Where do you get them?
Is there anything that should be done on each of the specific days?
What stories should be told? (can you incorporate the stories and activities with Jesus being sent to Earth for us? And in general how to you focus on Jesus during Hanukkah?)
What kind of presents do you get for everyone?
Is there anything special you do around opening presents? (we are going to only open presents during Hannukah... at our home anyway... Christmas will be spent at the Grandparents... in the future we want to spend Christmas doing something for others who are in need... this year we're already obligated to the extended family).
And is there anything else that the average Bible believing born-again wanting to be Jewish festival observing (but not neccesarily MJ) Christian family should do to observe Hanukkah?
Thanks
