No, some of my best time with God is at 3 in the morning when it is the most quiet around here and there are the least amount of distractions. I live in sort of a busy part of town and a part of my job is to keep an eye on things around here. At least that is a part of what we get free rent to do.

Also, I find that it is easier to go to different parts of the world and adjust to the different time zones if we do not have a real strong sleep routine.

In other words are you a creature of habit and regimen?[ [/QUOTE]

Pretty much things follow a routine around here and if there is a change it takes a few days to adjust and work out all the details out so that things are going smooth again. Like when I start back to Bible collage in the Fall, my wife had to submit a request at work to make sure she was not working when I had a class. That sort of stuff.

With the exception of sitting in the same pew at church and having a somewhat set schedule at work, my life is pretty much up in the air. My wife and I are spontaneous, so we rarely, if ever, plan anything more than a couple days in advance. I grew up in a household of schedules and routines, so I am happy to not have to live with that stress anymore.

at the moment my only habit is the computer. Man EVERYDAY it's on so i'll be working on that . Other than that, no, i sometimes sleep at 7, sometimes at 5 pm, eat whenever, go to church when i can etc. It's much better for some reason to live that way cause i think you don't have to rush a jillion things at once .

No certain bedtime, I go to bed whenever I'm ready.
I eat when I am hungry, and a lot of times when I'm not.
Sometimes I sleep in one bedroom, sometimes the other (I live alone in a three bedroom house).
I sit in roughly the same area of church, because I can see and hear best there, but I'm not rigid about it.

I don't have a lot of regimen or rigidity about my life.

Heh. The 3 bed rooms reserved for future use? Man i would love to live like that. If it's noisy in one room, go to the next. If i feel like watching TV just sleep outside .

well, I try to be in the bed by 12:00 during the wk, I have to be really tired to go earlier than that, I don,t set in the same seat at church, but i do set on the same side, and for some reason I cannot eat early, It,s usally after 7:00pm, less I am going somewere and I know it will be a while for I do eat If I wait. I would say i,am more routine on my job than anything else I do.

I have a flexible schedule. I always eat 3 meals a day but they aren't always at the same time. I always go to church but sit in a different place each time. I always go to bed at night but never at the same time. I grocery shop once a week but not always on the same day.

See a pattern here?

The only thing that I am regimented about is laundry, which is always on Tuesday. Oh yeah, and the dishwasher--it must be loaded a certain way or else I will take it all out and do it over. I'm weird. One more thing--I like the fan on at night for white noise.

It depends on what it is whether I've got a regiment or not.

Work I have a definite regiment...there are things that have to be done at certain times.

And at church I sit in the same pew every week, when I'm sitting out in the congregation...because I like to sit with my mom, and she sits in the same pew. But my seat kind of rotates when I'm singing with the choir up in the choir loft.

Everything else isn't on too much of a regiment. I go to bed at various times, get up at various times, eat at various times.

I do toggling shift work so I can't ever plan more than a week or so in advance for anything (except for important stuff like an upcoming BB King concert).

I sleep when I get the chance to. I eat when the phones and radios quiet down.

I only get to go to church every other Sunday so I never remember the last place that I sat.

However, every day at 0800 I stand at attention and salute (my wife says I've even done it once in my sleep) and again at sunset. One of the many great joys of my chosen life's course.

I'm always on a weird schedule. I work third shift and mine is wacky. I get up around 7pm play on computer until 9pm, go to work, eat lunch at 2am, I get home around 7:45am, eat supper, play on computer untill about 10am and hope to be asleep if I have to work that night no later than 11am. My days off I've tried to keep same but that never happens but that never happens usually on my day that I have to go back to work that night I have to take something to get to sleep or I'll be up until the next morning, which makes for a bad night at work. The only routine that I really have is at bedtime, I always read, I'll read the newspaper and/or magazine, then my bible before I go to sleep and for some reason right before I nod off I play one game on my little handheld Freecell game Oh, and on my nights off I try to do my laundry some time during the night and clean my room. Well, I guess that's about it

I used to get so frustrated when I would see guys running full tilt at 0758 so they could get over the quarterdeck and not have to salute Colors.  Made me wonder why they ever volunteered.
