How often do you read, and for how long each time?

im too busy during the day to read, unless its required for school.

As a teenager, I pretty much lived in my bedroom reading (I was probably the only teenager whose parents actually encouraged them to go out to parties and the like, just to get me out of my room :) ) As an adult, before having a baby, probably about three hours a day. Now I can squeeze in an hour a day if I'm lucky, but I'm doing other things at the same time (eg. playing blocks with my daughter while reading), so it's not quite the same.

It was great when the latest Harry Potter book came out, though. My husband was wonderful, he looked after Isabel all weekend, and cooked all of our meals, and let me read almost non-stop :)

I read mostly every day. I typically read for at least an hour before I go to bed, but it really depends on what I'm reading and how interested I am in the story. I also keep a book in my purse so I can read it on my lunch break or if I'm waiting at a doctor's office or whatever, but that's more sporadic.

I go in spurts... I'll go for a long time of only reading magazines/booklets and stuff on the computer... Then all of a sudden I'll see a book that captures me... and I'll spend hours upon hours reading the book until I'm done... Sometimes these books are part of a trilogy and so then I read the others books as well... I can read for hours and hours and hours... especially, when the HP books come out...lol :)
