"36“Lord, where are You going?” Simon Peter asked. Jesus answered, “Where I am going, you cannot follow Me now, but you will follow later.” 37“Lord,” said Peter, “why can’t I follow You now? I will lay down my life for You.” 38“Will you lay down your life for Me?” Jesus replied. “Truly, truly, I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times."

It's been too long that His Body cannot follow Him into the clouds...we've denied Him enough.

He has promised, that She "will follow later". Enough time has passed, I believe.

Fulfilling The Law Of Christ

and not to please ourselves.

Galatians 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Until one is converted they don’t SEE. Peter denied Christ before he was converted and he wasn’t to strengthen his brethren until after he was converted. That is The Way.

Hmmmm, I've been considering that perhaps Church history has been patterned after Peter's testimony.

Remember, at first, when he pulled out his sword and cut off the ear of the soldier?

Haven't we seen the results of the "Church Militant" or the "Holy Roman Empire" with all its pomp and bloodshed, when it was never supposed to be about physical warfare?

And when he spoke great words about honoring the Messiah...even to death, yet denied him in reality.

And hasn't the Church spoken highly about Him and even created days for celebration in His honor? But, has She really taken the time to know and understand just Who her Betrothed really is and what He observed and deemed honorable? And having seen, has She died to herself and the ways of this world system and made Herself ready?

And hasn't the Church denied Him again and gain in the eyes of the watching world, such that they can point the finger and shout "HYPOCRISY!"?

The Master said, "31 Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith will not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”"

And hasn't she been sifted throughout all these centuries, such that there is much division and confusion?

And what did Messiah say about the latter days?

"…18 Truly, truly, I tell you, when you were young, you dressed yourself and walked where you wanted; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” 19 Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. I am ready to return the favor if I am in the position to, to do what He did to show my love and gratitude. I almost said " to do for Him what He did for me" but how wrong would that be?!! I could never return that favor or give Him what He has given me, all anyone could ever ask for is a chance. Where there is a chance, there is hope and that is what we were given. What we do with it is on us. So I am willing to undergo whatever tortures there are because I love Jesus so much and that is the best way I can think to prove it because of the sins I have committed. By age 30 I thought I understood it. I thought I had it down pretty good and understood the nature of things. So at age 48 you can imagine my surprise when my eyes were opened to the REAL nature of things and The Bible took on a completely new identity. Scriptures I have read my whole life had a completely different meaning and I am ecstatic!

Matthew 16:16. Simon Peter answered and said You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

People will bear what they choose to bear! That is sad but the truth.

We can bear all things becuase grace will be dispensed at the time to allow us to bear, but this is the age of Laodicea and too many believers are barely generating heat and light.

I pray to be raptured but do not know if I am good enough or have repented enough and I don't want to get my hopes up or have false confidence. It's not that I do not have faith in our Lord, but rather in myself.
