Started out Baptist growing up, Then Assemblies of God, Then Calvary Chapel and Finally Eastern Orthodoxy.

I went back in time lol.

Baptized Catholic as an infant, raised Lutheran, but I didn't really believe Christianity, or take it seriously.

Came to Christ through Baptist Christians.

Went through a Hebew Roots phase.

Spent time with some conservative Mennonites.

Looked into a learned a lot from Eastern Orthodoxy.

Am slowly learning about and from the Catholic Church, and hope to be there, fully, someday.

I didnt change voluntarily. My father decided when I was 13 to make us kids get confirmed in his Episcopalian religion rather than the neighborhood Congregational church we’d gone to since we were little. Didn’t matter much to me it’s just that we had to get up earlier in the morning and I absolutely hated that !

I was baptized and raised Methodist and spent most of my life there. When I started college I visited the UM campus group which I found very cliquish and unwelcoming. Instead I started attending a nearby Presbyterian Church. It was a temporary thing which I don't count since I never joined up and never intended to stay. I joined other Methodist congregations after graduation. I left the UMC to become Episcopalian in my late 50's. So, I'm counting that as only one denominational change.

I was raised Roman Catholic. I explored Methodism as an adult and studied different Protestant denominations. Decided on the Episcopals and saw many things change before I pursued that path.

Threw up my hands and explored different religions. Met a lot of ex-Christians. Finally landed on the steps of a Jewish synagogue and found the truth. Relinquished my life to God and Christ and now I’m settled.

Raised in a Southern Baptist church by a Fundamental Baptist mom and Wesleyan dad. Parents started taking me to a Bible Methodist church when I was 12. Switched to Orthodox Presbyterian when I was 23. Switched to Free Church of Scotland Continuing when I was 28. Became Eastern Orthodox at 32.

I was baptized as an infant, but when I was a Christian at fourteen I began attending a Southern Baptist Church for several years. In my late-teens, I began to learn and embrace Reformed principles during a time when I was vehemently hostile against it. I now attend a Reformed Baptist church.

I suppose to some people, I never changed denominations, but in some circles this is clearly the case.

I got saved in a Baptist church (during summer vacation), so they were, in a sense, my first denomination. When I returned home, I went to my mother's UMC more regularly, but it lacked the fire that I had experienced with the Baptists, so I started to shop for a comparable church. Our local Baptist churches had compatible doctrines, but still lacked said fire.

I finally ended up at a non-denom modeled after Calvary Chapel. It eventually became a full-fledged Vineyard Christian Fellowship. When VCF wasn't available (after I moved and in the military), I usually attended Assembly of God churches. At one base, I got baptized at a United Pentecostal Church.

I became a Christian in July last year. I'd definitely call myself a Baptist although I haven't been baptised yet. Does that make me not a Baptist lol? I'm waiting for a medical examination in October now before I (finally) attend church. I am looking forward to it.

I don't see myself going away from being Baptist.

Grew up Evangelica Ecuadorian, went to a Baptist Church when I arrived to the US, attended a Methodist Church for a semester in my Freshman year, in College and I have been going to an Orthodox Church since I was a sophomore.

Well I'd say 20 or so. Now by 20 I mean I didn't switch denominations. I just tried another church that happen to be a different denomination. And by that I mean my parents church hopped. We've have been to all kinds. We still call ourselves non-denom though. Though it is hard to find a church that can claim to really be non-denom since most pastors come from different denominations.

Grew up Southern Baptist and was baptized by immersion in my early teens. I stopped going to church for a few years after college, and after the "conservative takeover" of the denomination which I strongly opposed, and then when I decided to go back to church again, changed to United Methodist and moved my membership.

While they are a tad bit more liturgical and formal than my personal preference, I am very happy with the emphasis on grace and discipleship through practicing holiness and spiritual disciplines, so I have no intention of changing again to a different denomination, but if it were forced upon me in some way, I might look into another branch of Wesleyanism or perhaps the Quakers/Friends.

The closest one to correct for me would be "two or more times" except for the significant problem that I was not attempting to be changing denominations. I actually never saw any denomination as valid in being separate from others.

In other words, I've gone to the One True Church in a quite a lot of 'denominations', but the denomination was never the reason I walked into a building, not once. To me, the denomination is the superficial and largely meaningless outward appearance, though it can contain various mistakes of men.
But I always seemed to take it as a given that men make mistakes. I couldn't imagine an actual church without mistakes, because in all the various many I've been -- at least 8 denominations where I've been in 3 or more services -- in I saw and heard things that should not be (though not usually serious enough to matter, though sometimes that way).

The current one is simply one that has less mistakes than usual.

Raised Assemblies of God. Switched to Vineyard for about half a decade. Then switched to (Southern) Baptist. Through all of that, my personal beliefs remain relatively stable, which is to say that my change of denominations was by no means a change of personal doctrine, which I acquired through personal experience and studying the Bible. No denomination holds exactly to my beliefs on every point, so I learn to accept differences from acceptable churches, and I avoid those churches which I cannot accept.

I chose "I never had a denomination." I grew up attending a Baptist church, and have attended various denominations since. I have been to Methodist churches, Baptist, non-denominational, and I currently attend a (PCA) Presbyterian church. I am sure that growing up around Baptists has influenced some of my beliefs (for example I lean toward full immersion baptism), but I also don't really consider myself a part of any denomination.

In college, I visited churches from a number of denominations (including some nondenominational ones) while attempting to discern my spiritual home, but I only moved my church membership across denominational lines once, so I'm counting that as one move.
