My brother in law and his family are Jewish, so we go to temple with them when we visit or for the childrens bar mitzvah's, etc.. I also found out many of the people I work with are Jewish or have a Jewish background, so they go over what to name their children, what is kosher, circumsion, etc... pretty neat.....

Cool, then you probably have a very good understanding on this subject.

My wife and her sister are usually the ones more concerned on the foods and other issues as my brother in law and his family are Jewish Reformed, so eat non-kosher foods. My brother in law actually watches out for us to see there is a vegetarian dish or fare with no pork or bacon, etc.. when chosing where we go out to eat at a restuarant.

Visionary, at the grocery store I go to they don't have anything with the kosher symbol on the boxes. I've seen the Hebrew Nation hot dogs there before and I love the "we answer to a Higher power" on the labels (but I don't eat hot dogs made with meat).

I do go to a special store to buy marshmallows that aren't made with pork (who knew?!) and I noticed some wine at the liquor store once that said "kosher for Passover". What does that mean? No leaven?
