How many hours per week do you work?

I just started an airplane manufacturing job a couple weeks ago, and I'm working about 70 hours a week right now. The pay is good, but the lack of time that isn't spent working or sleeping kinda sucks.

So I'm curious, what do you guys do for a living, and how much do you work?

I work about 55 hours per week currently, in a couple of weeks it will be 50, and I'll start school full time.

40 hours, starting this week. Plus the between 10 and 30 hours per week I put in on a side project (which makes me a little money), plus now my friends have suckered me into ANOTHER project which currently is taking up about 3-4 hours per week, but will soon start taking more.

Basically I work from the time I get up until the time I go to sleep, with blogging and trolling message boards mixed in there. Luckily I have a laptop and am a database/web developer so it's easy for me to move around and do work at the same time.

I work part time and I'm in school, so only 12-17 hours. On occasion it can reach 20 but that's usually around holidays.

lol Ironically, I've never even flown in any plane, or even been in a completed one where I work.

That sucks. I'm at least getting paid well. And the time and a half and double time overtime is very nice.

It's currently $5.25 minimum wage in many states, including mine. It's going up to $5.85 soon, and more each of the next 2 or 3 years. And servers' minimum wage is currently $2.13 because it's expected that they'll make more in tips.

It is if you are in the military.

He works in Iraq pretty much any time he isn't sleeping and if you figure it all out vs. his monthly pay he's probably making $5 or even less.

It depends. I'm salaried but work over 40 hours every week at my full-time job. I also have a part time job.

37 hours a week, $7 an hour. Work my butt off and we are overworked, underpayed, and waaay understaffed! They need to hire new ppl baad!!

But it's better than the last job I had at a factory! That place was kinda the pits, but I've been in worse. Once worked with a turkey artificial insemination crew..way nasty job and half the ppl I worked with couldn't even speak English!
