  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How many days for Obama to say "radical Islamic terrorists"?

After they killed Americans how many days did it take for Obama to say "radical Islamic terrorists"?

And how many days for Trump to say "KKK"?

Seems like the left-Media has very very short memory -- maybe only hours.

No wait! They just unwittingly confirmed the legitimacy of all the whining about Obama.

Maybe somebody should tell them.

So if you didn't like it when Obama did it, how do you feel now Trump's doing it?

Are you saying Trump is just as bad as Obama?

Only if we all agree that Obama could say "radical islamic terrorist" in as few days as Trump could say ". And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans"... so that was "within a day"??? or was it "two days"???

Or did Obama simply "double down on not saying it... year after year"??

hmmmm ... which was it.??

Obama had reason:
President Barack Obama: Why I won't say 'Islamic terrorism

Trump say Nazi and KKK side had some "very fine people". And you not see difference?

In Spain we have real terrorists - they get "endorsement" for their criminal actions by their organization as being part of the "faithful".

But lone-wolf criminals and thugs such as were seen doing violence in Charlottsville - they just get to be vilified. (At least in the case of those on the KKK end of the spectrum). Which slants them a bit more to the lone-wolf criminal end of the scale.

Same reason he and Hillary wanted to attribute the deaths in Benghazi to "a video"??

Trump say Nazi and KKK side had some "very fine people". And you no see difference?

Trump said " And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans" Trump has a daughter and son-in-law that are both Jewish. We have no reason to even imagine that he hates his daughter or would tolerate insults against her.

Obviously.

And Jessie Jackson gave Trump a "life time achievement award" in 1999 for his work on behalf of African Americans. And we also have the " And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans"

So then --- how many days did it take for Obama to get on board the "radical islamic terrorist" language as the official press release from the White House???.. ever??

And let's not forget the supposedly "innexcusable" statement on Saturday that was of this form ".. We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides. It's been going on for a long time in our country. Not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama. This has been going on for a long, long time. It has no place in America. "

yes.. yes... that is enough to get the unhinged radical leftists to organize and riot for weeks!!

Take look at this communist group that organized the destruction of property in Durham this week - http://www.workers.org/ ... They use racism as a flashpoint to promote civil unrest.

I not know Benghazi sound like a lot of propaganda. Give reliable source please?

Then Trump have another speech and say Nazi and KKK side have some "very fine people". And not matter Ivanka or Jared religion. Nothing to do about Trump say Nazi and KKK side have some "very fine people".

Obama had reason. For Benghazi give reliable source please.

Was only five days ago.

Zero days of riot about this.

What you talk about?

Zero???
Hundreds Protest Across America in Response to Charlottesville Violence

Some people refused to wait. Protesters in Durham, North Carolina, used a rope to pull down the nearly century-old Confederate Soldiers Monument on Monday at a rally against racism. Dozens cheered as the statue of a soldier holding a rifle fell to the ground in front of an old courthouse building.

Many officials who were horrified by the events that killed one person and injured dozens more Saturday in Charlottesville soon began publicizing plans to take down statues.

The Southern Poverty Law Center last year counted more than 1,500 things around the country named after Confederate figures or dedicated to the Confederacy, including holidays, statues, flags and the names of cities, counties, schools and parks.

Don't miss it -- "The Southern Poverty Law Center last year counted more than 1,500 things around the country named after Confederate figures or dedicated to the Confederacy, including holidays, statues, flags and the names of cities, counties, schools and parks."

The "purge" is planned -

At the rise of soviet communism in Russia the same tactics used to combine civil unrest with the destruction of monuments and federal property -- a "cleansing" of history.

Same reason he and Hillary wanted to attribute the deaths in Benghazi to "a video"??

The reason is that he didn't want to support the claim that these people's barbarism was religious in nature which he felt elevated terrorists claims of legitimacy (these claims are steeped in religious justifications).

No one was calling for Trump to claim that the KKK was specifically a "radical christian organization" just to denounce it in unequivocal terms.

Obama cared about how the language he used shaped the larger picture he was trying to address, and he cared more about it than scoring some cheap political points.

Trump got super equivocal and waffled when he was placed in the uncomfortable position(for him) of calling out some of the worst white supremacist organizations we have.
