He is confused as to what the Father is doing and what the Lord Jesus Christ is doing at this time.

The Father is bringing the Lord`s enemies to His footstool for judgment. (Ps. 110: 1)
The Son is building His body till it is mature by the Holy Spirit and then taking it to His own throne where they will judge the world system and fallen angels. (Rev. 3; 21, 1 Cor. 6: 2 & 3)

He is confusing what Jesus said to the people of Israel who are an earthly nation, and the Body of Christ who are a heavenly nation.

The believers are a voice of righteousness in the world but it is not for us to fix or change man`s system or think that it is our fault as evil comes to the fore. God the Father is bringing the nations to judgment.

The Body of Christ is to build up each other in the Lord, mentor others to become like Christ. What greater purpose is there than that.

We are to look for the Lord`s coming and to know when He is near. (Heb. 9: 28, 10: 25, 1 Thess. 5: 4) The Head, Christ Jesus will tell His Body as the Day draws near. And it is nigh already.

IMO, the pre-trib rapture will start to go away when a Temple starts to be built in Jerusalem. Until that time, it's business as usual. No warnings, not teaching on prophecy. Why? When you believe Jesus will take you out before it gets real bad, why study prophecy and prepare yourself?

Granted, the rapture will happen. But it won’t be what pretribbers thought. There will be no single antichrist. There will be no third temple. There will be no physical mark of the beast. You are right...no warning, because you’re looking at wrong signs.

Why would christians be any more responsible for the spiritual condition of the US ... than God is responsible for the spiritual condition of the world ?

Why would we expect the spiritual condition of the US to get better at all? imo it is only going to get worse. The great falling away, the beginning of sorrows, the days of Noah and Lot. Maybe an amillennialist would expect it to get better, but they think Satan is restrained now!!

The spiritual condition of ANY nation is not the signs. Nations were never a faithful representation of God’s kingdom on Earth. It’s the New Testament congregation all over the world. Therefore, it is the spiritual condition of the church that we should pay attention to. The Darkness in the world is only a symptom of it.

Since no one knows when, how can they give a time reference? If covid19 slowed down the church, it is because the church let covid19 dictate what the church does with her time. The church is not beholden to any government to give her permission to obey God. John did not put all those harlot utube videos in Revelation for nothing.
