What is your relationship with JESUS like?

If I'm totally honest, it's violently turbulent, having more peaks and troughs than the Swiss Alps.

God is unfailing, but I am failing Him often

How important is Jesus to me?
I depend on Him as being the One constant in my life.
When everything and everyone around me waxes and wanes, Jesus is constant, always the same. He never stops loving me, even when I sometimes fail Him. When I sin against Him, doing something that does not please Him, I ask His forgiveness and I know that He REALLY forgives and forgets...unlike those around me who are human and can hold on to things.
His promises I know will be kept until the end of Time...whereas humanity makes promises that are easily broken or forgotten.
Jesus' love for me is always the same and I know exactly how deep it is for me, 'cos He went to the Cross for me, as unworthy of His sacrifice as I was. His love for me has stayed constant throughout, even before I came to truly know Him and love Him as my Saviour.
Without Jesus, I was lost and my life had no direction, even though I thought it did. Now I am found, I have a direction to go in, walking the path in Jesus' light and trying each day to become more like Him.
How important is Jesus to me?
The words above only cover it a little bit. Nothing can truly express the depth of just how important He is to me.

One the days when I simply can't believe in God, because the world is going to pot, the pain and the suffering, I turn to Jesus, and He shows me God.

Without Jesus in my life, I was headed for prison or death (as in very soon.) With Jesus in my life I'm headed for full-time ministry. Jesus is the ultimate example I look up to, my saviour and redeemer and a whole lot else I can't recall off the top of my head. I know who I wanna hang with!

I know that "What Would Jesus Do?" is such a cliche these days, so I changed my thinking to "How Would Jesus Love?"

Jesus is so important to me. He is the only one that i can trust TOTALLY not to leave me or stop loving me. No matter what i do or say or how many times i doubt His love, He doesn't stop loving me!!! And i know that if i simply say sorry and truly mean it He will forgive me and throw my sin in the bin and He'll never bring it back up and use it against me.
This is just a brief outline of how important He is to me we'd be here years if i told you every detail - if i could find the words to express it!
