Hello everyone, I'm slipping this message in here to tell you my story and how I found God with a little help 
My name is Michel , I'm 30 years old and I recently had a divine enlightenment 2 years ago.
I was at my lowest point, having a lot of addiction problems with alcohol that I couldn't get out of I was getting ready to commit the irreparable and take my life.
One beautiful morning of December 14th just before Christmas I found by chance a book in the street on the ground while I was at the end of my rope.
This book you may know:
"The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here For?" written by Pastor Rick Warren in 2002.
Reading this book changed me profoundly and I knew that this book did not fall on me by chance.
The book is presented as a 40 day personal spiritual journey through 40 chapters. The 5 main sections of the book are Worship, Church, Discipleship, Ministry and Mission. They represent God's five purposes for human life on earth according to him. This spiritual journey has kept me grounded on earth and today as I speak I am 594 days sober and I have never been so happy to have God in my life.
It feels good to share my story from time to time and today I'm happy to have registered on this forum which seems particularly warm.
