Yeah, I agree with you. Those are some odd questions there, and I remember a few others that were contradictory questions. Also, I feel that my results where skewed when I selected neutral answers on the questions about Christian leaders whom I had no clue, or not enough information about them.Examples of strange questions:
1. "Older churches are unintelligible to modern people"----Say what?
2. "There is a significant place for Mary in Christian theology"----Well, that depends on what the author means by "significant place". Her obedience to God's will was at least as important as Abraham's, Noah's, and the Apostle Paul's obedience. However, she has no role in our salvation.
3. "We cannot understand God without looking first at humanity"----Hmm, God is perfection and we're not.
4. "The best proof of God is drawn from the inward experience of the believer"----The assurance and conviction of HS is proof, but there are other proofs as well.
5. "Preaching the word is more important than worship"---- Er, they're both integral parts to the church service.
6. "The person of Christ, rather than the Bible, is the central focus of God's self-revelation"----Uh, both are God's revelation of Himself.
7. "Spirituality is more important than detailed dogmatics"----It's possible to have immense knowledge of doctrine and be spiritually deader than a doorpost, but how can you grow in Christ without knowledge of Him? Also, zeal without knowledge is not a good thing.

Yeah, I googled Barton's name and a couple others. Then, I retook the test, and got a result that was higher in percentage for Fundamentalist. However, I remember that some of those questions contradicted each other, OR were purposely vague.wikipedia is your friend wink wink
