I live about 500 miles or so.

You know how they say you can't go home any more? In my case, it's literal.

Born Chanute AFB, IL - base closed in the 1980s.
Lived Clark AFB, Philipenes - base closed in the 1990s.
Lived Tehran, Iran - U.S State Department travel advisory.
Lived K.I. Sawyer AFB, MI - base closed in the 1990s.

Every place I've lived except Vance AFB, OK before I was 13 is closed or inaccessable.
