Jesus came down from heaven, born of a woman. He is begotten of the Father, not made.

Jesus IS God and they are ONE. Jesus was not born of any seed of God or sperm of God. He is God.

Isa 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Luk 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Jesus's body was made from Mary's ovum, and of course there needed to be the rest to make a human, so you figure out what exactly the Creator Spirit was doing to create what was needed, probably creating.

Was He born of the Virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit, or not?

Even Irenaeus believed CHrist was from Mary and the Spirit.

Yes he was but I think we all need to get together and realize that some things are just mysterious to us.

But what has humored me is if you all really think God created this sperm in order to make Jesus then Mary really is all that we say she is, huh?

That would make her spouse of the Holy Spirit. All the things De Montfot said about her would then be true.

She conceived with the Holy Spirit. God's sperm and her egg. That makes them have a bond, that would make them one.

That would mean she did belong to God and there is no way she would have belonged to Joesph as husband and wife.

She already had a spouse, the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit neither marries or is married for He too is God.. God does not marry human beings. He is creator God. All of us are born again that have Christ. Not being born of the corruptable seed but of the uncorruptable seed.

There ya go again twisting what i've said, i said created, not had a sperm. And by the way, Adam was created by the Creator out of the dirt of the earth, so i guess by your anology, God is already married to the earth.

No you were not disagreeing, you were trying to twist what i've said. Had to create the y chromosome. God does not have sperm, He is a Spirit, He is however Creator.

Lets say Jesus was born of a promise (The word)-seed- this is true

Mary BELIEVED this and is blessed

She simply believed--like Abraham ,Noah etc. If Abraham had not believed, or better if Noah hadnt found favour, we would have never gotton to Mary believing that God was going to use her faith in the promises.
King David and Solomon would not have even existed.

The goal through all the promises is Christ, (and Christ was promised way back to Abraham)
Great people of God have held on to that promise and have kept it all possible and Mary believed also, and the saviour of the world was eventually born---This is all Gods work.

Okay, just thinking about God having sperm....gives me the heebee jeebees. I don't have any problem believing that the same God, that created Adam out of earth, and Eve from a spare rib( ) could generate life from Mary's single cell egg, when the Holy Spirit overshadowed her.
