Thought we could have a thread, interviewing people and have them tell us how they do, have, like or make things ... like for instance:

how do you like your eggs?
(won't be many dirty dishes if you do it like the guy here :) )

You know, I do eat my eggs almost like that. I put a little butter in the pan, put 2 eggs in, cook and scramble them with a fork and then eat them out of the pan with the same fork. You can do that when you live alone and don't need to cook for anyone else.

oops, this thread is probably considered being in the ''interview'' category, and that's not what is allowed anylonger, maybe

sorry, folks :(
That's okay Unn ... we'll have fun with this until someone moves it

I eat my eggs any old way they are cooked ... when I cook them they are usually scrambled cuz I'm too much of a clutz to properly fry an egg ^_^

my mom had done this, but I've yet to see it done, but she swears that this really works.

"ZIPLOC OMELETS"

Have you ever heard of this?
(This works great! Good for when all
your family is together and no one has to wait for their special omelet)

Have guests write their name on a
quart-size ziploc freezer bag with permanent
marker.

Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into
the bag (not more than 2) shake to combine them Put out a variety of ingredients such
as: cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper,
tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc.

Each guest adds prepared ingredients of
choice to their bag and shake, Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up. Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. For more, make another pot of boiling water.

Open the bags and the omelet will roll
out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be
amazed. Nice to serve with fresh fruit and coffee cake; everyone gets involved in the process and a great conversation piece.

I usually like mine over easy, on top of my pancakes( omit the peanut butter on these ^_^ )and sometimes I like to saute some onions in a pan, cook the scrambled eggs in the same pan, and top with shredded cheese cuz I totally stink at making omelettes!

Do some of your scramble your eggs in a bowl before placing it in the pan or scramble as your cook them? My wife says I should scamble it before I cook. Is there a wrong way to cook eggs?
Yes! Any way that is different than how your wife says to do it! ^_^

yolih, I've done it both ways...scrambled in a bowl before putting in the pan or cracking the eggs in the pan and then scrambling. With scrambled, I don't think there is a right or wrong way.

Oh...btw, my omelets usually end up being scrambled eggs...yeah, yeah, I'm very impatient. what John is getting himself into...^_^

Scrambled eggs = just eggs & maybe milk.
Omelette = 1) folded omelette: Neat, tidy eggs with stuff in them.
2) scrambled omlette: scrambled eggs with stuff in them.

No problem!
