  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How do you view UFOS and Abduction stories then?

Yes, theres something other worldly or realm in all this. But it seems more refined now. Its not as vague as men from Mars or another planet that are humanlike and just advanced in tech. Its more dimensional and even supernatural in how people are percieving this and its not restricted to religious belief. But perhaps more a conscious experience that is manifesting itself with real world affects.

I liken it to NDE or OBE because it has paralells with the realness and non temporal aspect of these experiences. It often involves supernatural feats like instant teleportation or seemingly travelling through solid material and all that. Or how objects appear out of nowhere and then disappear or move in ways that defy reality. No sure its related but it seems to tap into the same brain areas.

We know that this can be closely aligned to imagination and dream states. But there seems a certain quality that is different. Certainly it has a real and lasting affect unlike the confused and easily forgotton imagination and make believe. It seems to penetrate deeply into the psyche and soul of a person.

Just wondering if those beings were active in the past, its just we called them fairies and little people, as that was our mindset at that time

And just curious how their message many times is a coming paradise change soon to come on earth, new age, but first have to get rid of those holding to old jesus and old bible religion in order to make paradise then happen

I don’t refer to them as aliens or UFOs nor do I believe the government is ignorant of their existence. Much of this hinges on submission to the Lord in respect to engagement. If you believe you can become a god you probably won’t respect the boundaries put in place by the Most High and reaching beyond them is appealing.

I find the question of their existence peculiar. If the answer‘s yes then what? No one ever discusses that and as a believer it would be my starting point on the subject. How do I guard or stand against it rather than wondering if it’s real. That isn’t going to help if it’s true nor would I rely on abduction statements for my defense.

I hate how the term UFO is equated with "flying saucer." UFO is simply Unidentified Flying Object. If a UFO was known to be a flying saucer, it would no longer be unidentified.

There are indeed unidentified flying objects. The last I saw turned out to be a Starlink Chain. Had just enough data to do a back of the envelop estimate of the altitude, and kept coming up with numbers above the atmosphere. At the time thought it was in the atmosphere, but nope, it was indeed outside of it. Once identified as a Starlink chain, ity was no longer unidentified.

One that remained a UFO was a light in the 1970s during the CB craze, and that let multiple observers get a fix on it. No attempts at altitude or positioning estimates, but two of us managed to be on opposite sides of the thing. Military exercise? Test aircraft? Who knows? It was unidentified, flying, and an object.

But in a larger sense...in a larger sense...isn't everything unidentified? Just because we taxonomically call an elephant an elephant, or call it an animal, or a mammal, that gives us no clue as to what it is.
